Our High Performance Learning (HPL) Team has been working hard planning activities and looking out for the Value, Attitude and Attributes being demonstrated across the school.

We asked them to tell us a little bit about what they have been doing.

“The team has been planning our next assembly to introduce the final Value, Attitude and Attribute (VAA) character - Agile Alex.  Agile Alex is enquiring, creative, enterprising, open-minded and risk-taking and our assembly will demonstrate how this might look.

Part of the role of the HPL team is to look out during lunchtimes for children who are demonstrating the current VAA.  Every Friday, the HPL team also visits each class to announce who these children are and to reward them with a sticker showing the value they have demonstrated.  The children are very proud to receive a sticker.”

Park Road Community Primary School started its HPL journey last year which uses a range of different values to help pupils achieve exciting new things with a ‘everybody can’ approach.

Last year the children came up with characters which express the different Values, Attitudes and Attributes (VAAs) which can be demonstrated within their learning and time at school.  Read more about the school’s HPL journey here
