Pupils took their learning outside of the classroom as part of a fun-filled trip to Thurstaston Beach.

The visit focused on exploring coastal features and understanding the effects of coastal erosion with activities designed to help them learn how erosion occurs and how it can change the landscape over time.

As part of the trip, Year 5 recreated how coastal erosion happens, helping to bring classroom learning to life.

Thurstaston Beach, located on the Dee Estuary, is part of the Wirral Country Park and is known for its low sandstone cliffs and a mixture of sandy and rocky shorelines.

The trip provided an opportunity for the class to observe the coastline directly and develop their understanding of geographical processes in a real-world setting.

What a great trip!
