Happiness Heroes: Spreading Joy Across the School

Park Road's Happiness Heroes Team has had a busy start to the year helping to spread cheer and happiness to the whole school. We asked them to tell us a little more about what they have been doing.
We have had a very busy start to the year starting off with a Happy New year breakfast for the Happiness Heroes team.
We celebrated World Mental Health Week in style by holding our very own Rock Concert. All the children and staff enjoyed a day full of music, and there were some fantastic outfits too.
Some of the team members visited Years 1 and 2 to help the children make worry dolls out of pegs and wool. This activity was a fun and creative way for younger students to express their feelings and worries.
We are now working towards a Bronze My Happy Mind award this term. As part of this we are currently getting ready to interview Head Teacher Mrs Quigley, some teachers and a School Governor. We will keep you updated with the results.
Plans are coming together for our next Community Café, so keep an eye out for more information about that too!
Thank you to the Happiness Heroes team for all their hard work in making Park Road a happier place for everyone!
