Finding signs of Autumn in Forest School
Forest School has been a hive of excitement for our Year 3 children who have been welcoming Autumn.
Working with Park Road Community Primary School Teacher Mrs Preston, they have observed the changing environment, learnt how to tie a over hand knot and even created their own autumnal wand.
Forest School offers pupils a unique outdoor learning experience where children can explore nature, develop new skills, and grow in confidence.
During each of the sessions children learn about the natural environment through hands-on activities like bug hunting, leaf identification, den building, camp fires and tree climbing.
Headteacher Kathryn Quigley said: “It's certainly been a fun filled week of outside learning!”
