Children at Park Road Community Primary School embraced Mental Health Awareness Week with a variety of mindful, creative, and fun activities, all linked to this year's theme of "Know Yourself, Grow Yourself."

Pupils explored ways to support their well-being through yoga sessions, helping them relax and focus, and they also spent time planting bulbs.

As part of the week, the children made their own worry dolls, which can be used to express and manage emotions. They also engaged in their weekly My HappyMind lessons, reinforcing positive mental health habits.

To further promote well-being, the school welcomed a clinical psychologist, who shared valuable insights into understanding and managing emotions.

The excitement continued with a high-energy rock concert by Rock Kidz which filled the school with music, fun, and positivity!

This year Children's Mental Health Week took place from 3rd February to 9 February organised by the children's mental health charity Place2Be.
